Child development checks are offered at intervals that are consistent with national
guidelines and policy.
MAT01 - 6 points
Ante-natal care and screening are offered according to current local guidelines.
SH01 - 4 points
The practice can produce a register of women who have
been prescribed any method of contraception at least once in the last year,
or other appropriate interval e.g. last 5 years for an IUS.
SH02 - 3 points
The percentage of women prescribed an oral or patch contraceptive
method who have also received information from the practice about long acting
reversible methods of contraception in the previous 15 months. (payment stages
40 – 90%)
SH03 - 3 points
The percentage of women prescribed emergency hormonal
contraception at least once in the year by the practice who have received information
from the practice about long acting reversible methods of contraception at the
time of, or within one month of, the prescription. (payment stages 40 – 90%)
CON01 - 1 point
The team has a written policy for responding to requests for emergency contraception.
CON02 - 1 point
The team has a policy for providing pre-conceptual advice.
